I just got back from SLC and want to add my hearty agreement with what
everyone has said regarding the Azores Conference. I was not as successful
this year in finding records (last year was the mother lode!), but
benefited greatly with refresher courses covering everything from Travel to
the Azores and searching Portuguese newspapers. Now I'm just waiting for
more people to submit their DNA and subsequent results to the Azores DNA
project. Come on everybody!!!
Everyone was so friendly and helpful and I always appreciate reconnecting
with "cousins". Thank you again Cherie, Rosemarie and Joao for ALL your
work and selfless committment to helping us research our Azorean roots!

Blessings,
Janet Mason Langland
