The date is 10 May 1777. Yes the record before is 1799 and the record on the reverse side of the page is 1800. I would guess the record was discovered missing and was entered in the next available page.

Given that many of the pages are loose in this book, I would say that either the page was inserted in the wrong place, or the recorder made a typo.
