Hello Cousin, I would like to know about José's descendant line and will be glad to share everything I have in my files.
My ancestor Rosa Emilia Carreiro, José's daughter, married Antonio Jacinto de Faria, in Rabo de Peixe on 1849. Their daughter Maria Carreiro married Manuel Tavares de Medeiros, in Rabo de Peixe on 1874, and they emigrated to Brazil on 1891. As to Manuel Martins de Gouveia and Maria da Luz, I have researched all their ancestors. This line goes back to several settlers of the island of São Miguel, e.g.: Afonso Enes do Couto; João Lopes, dos Mosteiros; Diogo de Oliveira de Vasconcelos; Rui Tavares; Francisco Anes, da Praia; Martim Anes Furtado de Sousa; Afonso Anes da Costa Cogumbreiro; Pedro Velho de Travassos; Jorge Velho.
