Angela, I've seen the Saudade da Terra series of 5 or 6 books. They call each one a volume. Volume IV is about Sao Miguel. I've never seen 3 volumes of volume IV. I don't know what you meant by that.
And before someone does a search and finds out, yes, Volume IV on Sao Miguel was translated into English by Edna Phillip Kerns. Edna died in 2009 and the book is not available. Checking WorldCat could be helpful.
