Saudades da Terra is divided into 6 Livros (books) and until a few years ago,
Book IV (S. Miguel), the largest of the books, was divided into 3 volumes. (So
the complete set was 8 volumes long). The most recent edition, slipcased, is 6
volumes long. Edna, of happy memory, translated the first volume of Book IV.

I don't know what you meant by that.
And before someone does a search and finds out, yes, Volume IV on Sao Miguel
was translated into English by Edna Phillip Kerns. Edna died in 2009 and the
book is not available. Checking WorldCat could be helpful.
