Something was going on in 1958 because both of these notes were written on July 31, 1958. I don't see any reference anything happening to her at this time so maybe she was just rejoining her native parish so they were updating who she was.
The first note says that with the complete name of Maria de Egito Rodrigues (Mary of Egypt?) she married on Nov 4, 1905 in Providence, Rhode Island to Mariano Rocha de Lima, native of the Azores. The last part of the first note I can't make out but believe it is a reference to a record source. The second note says she was widowed on 13 Oct 1943 in São Pedro (Angra) and references the obito. As for those dates, I am told that dates are always written day/month/year and they used to use Roman numerals for the month Bill On Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 10:13:27 AM UTC-8, Barb Davis wrote: > > > http://culturacores.azores.gov.pt/biblioteca_digital/TER-AH-SERRETA-B-1880-1889/TER-AH-SERRETA-B-1880-1889_item1/P139.html > > On the left page, record no. 5, there is a note in the margin going into > the next page.
