Angela, I don't know how much will come up with just using SMA, you should always write Santa Maria out and also search archives with the full name, that way you don't miss anything. Another thing we need to consider on this list is the fact that not everyone has English as their first language. They may not understand abbreviations and shortcuts that we use in the English language. I even have trouble sometimes understanding English usage from one end of the country to the other!! They do not always mean the same thing so I really feel sorry for someone who has English as their second language!!
