This is the baptism of my wife's GG-grandmother, Maria, born 18 May 1854
and baptized on 22 May in Santa Barbara das Manadas, Sao Jorge. (lower
right and continues on next page)

I'd like help with the words that start after viuvo on line 4 up to the
word termo at the end of the line. I think it is about the father
acknowledging the child, but I can't make the words out.

I believe I have the names, but I posted them below in case any need
correcting.

The mother is Rosa Ignacia, single, daughter of Joao Jose da Silveira and
his wife Izabel Ignacia.

The father is Antonio da Silveira de Avila, widower. The godfather is Jose
Silveira de Avila, son of the baptized's father (the baby's half brother).
 I see no godmother listed.

Thanks,
Bill Seidler
