I think it is about the father acknowledging the child, but I can't make the words out. I believe I have the names, but I posted them below in case any need correcting. The mother is Rosa Ignacia, single, daughter of Joao Jose da Silveira and his wife Izabel Ignacia. The father is Antonio da Silveira de Avila, widower. The godfather is Jose Silveira de Avila, son of the baptized's father (the baby's half brother). I see no godmother listed.
