Wow, I figured this out!  

Anna do Rosario was expecting when Antonio Francisco died.  The child, Jose p, 
was born in March 1777 and she married Bartholomeu in November  1777.  (Feeling 
like a detective here) 


Jose, son of Anna do Rosario, viúva de António Francisco y de su esposo, 
Bartholomeu de Andrade....

The  abbreviation for "vieuva" always gets me.  Thanks.
