However this is the Joaquim from the marriage entry and it does match the birth year of his grandfather. I would greatly appreciate any help in translating/understanding this record. :) Next is finding a passport to confirm that this Joaquim is, in fact, the same as my husband's grandfather who travelled in 1906 on the SS Brooklyn.
