Hope your experience is better than mine, Cheri. Today I received the letter I wrote to St. Mary's Church in Bristol, RI. Not a response, really, the original paper letter I wrote to them. At the top of the letter I send was written, "Just says "notice sent" Both Parties were born in Azores."
Any suggestions that can give me a more accurate location of birth is appreciated. Celeste, researching "the elusive Maria Cristo."
