I am trying to learn more about my maternal grandmother's side of the family. Here are the things I know and have found so far:
My Grandmother's name was *Maria DaCarmo Andrade Soares* and she was born July 28, 1892 or 1893 in the Rosario Parish of Lagoa. She had a sister named *Maria Augusta Andrade Soares,* birthdate December 26, 1895 She married *Joao Faria Machado* also from there and he was born in 1890. And he had a first cousin name *Jose Maria Faria*, and the records are 1897>0095 (June 4, 1897) She had an aunt who was only a few years older than her. Her name is *Leopoldina*--Looks like her birthdate was March 5, 1889. I think her last name was Andrade. In the records I am finding her under 0019. She married *John Lopes*, and I think that happened in the Azores. Does anyone have any other connections? I know my great grandfather on my grandmother's side died at a very young age, and his wife died soon after. I believe probably he died in 1902 and she in 1904.
