I have this couple as the parents of Maria Rodrigues, who married Francisco Fagundes on 2/4/1657 in Altares, Terceira. Maria Rodrigues was Francisco's 2nd wife. His 1st wife was Maria Goncalves. I see the records indicates that Maria Rodrigues was from Altares. Is there any other leads from the record. I can not find these people anywhere else and you know what that means....blindly searching the baptism and death records for this time period. I was hoping someone from the group might know more... Especially since the last name Barrantes is not very common. I only have it one other time in my database....D.
