Grandmother came from Punta del Gado, Azores to America c, 1920....Grandfather died there. My Father and 2 sisters and 3 brothers born in USA as was my mother....New Bedford, Mass. I spoke only portuguese till grammar school..... Part of remembered vocabulary casinha...sua bencao....and more Interested in more memories..vocabulary etc.....of those days [email protected]
