There are 2 Ponta Delgada's in the Azores. One on the island of São Miguel
and the other on the island of Flores.

As for your memories, I'm not too sure how we can help you with your
memories. I know my local adult school has a writing class where they do
something with memories and writing your childhood stories. Maybe your
local adult school has something similar.

Mostly this genealogy list deals with trying to find our Azorean ancestors
and how to read the older handwriting.
