Thanks for the clarification. Maia is from Ribeira Grande and I think that municipality has a Ribeira Seca as well. So I wasn’t sure what church they were referring too. I thought it was odd it said this village of Maia, when the record is from the Vila Franca municipality? JR, how did you find out the mother is from Ponta Garca?
