More of less completely unrelated to this idea, or the backstage
project, but backstage in a different sense: I think it would be great
if, on News 24 or any other live show, the audio from the gallery
(directors shouting, counting down, etc) which the presenters hear in
their earpieces, could be broadcast as an alternative soundtrack either
on digital TV or online.
Apart from being hugely entertaining, it would give an insight into
what's actually going on behind the headlines, and the editorial
decisions being made. Available in conjunction with the actual output,
it could be content remixing in a very raw sense!
