More of less completely unrelated to this idea, or the backstage project, but backstage in a different sense: I think it would be great if, on News 24 or any other live show, the audio from the gallery (directors shouting, counting down, etc) which the presenters hear in their earpieces, could be broadcast as an alternative soundtrack either on digital TV or online.

Apart from being hugely entertaining, it would give an insight into what's actually going on behind the headlines, and the editorial decisions being made. Available in conjunction with the actual output, it could be content remixing in a very raw sense!
