Hi Brian,
What are your thoughts on headers changing, to capture Morning Breakfast, Evening News and a Night Time theme. I know similar has been done before and also animation. But the way they can design this section would be rather novel.

But with a couple of subtle swipes within the lines of reply, I feel if you come up with some reasonable ideas and suggestions with a few constructive reasons to why, creative temperament comes into the discussion.

My ideas are to help and to get people thinking, sometimes when you are so directly involved with a project, you can get stale and unable to see the wood for the trees.

On a more lighter note, what's the Weather like in Greece.

Regards Alastair :-)

I was doing a BBC One one, but I got stuck because I can't find how to make the times more granular (half hours, not just hours).

Dunstan Orchard did a time-changing header picture many years ago:

His was designed so that it worked at many screen resolutions, you
just saw more or less of the header picture; which is the best way
of doing things, in my opinion. Arguments about 1024px vs 800px
width are just depressing, especially when they mention screen
resolution as if that has anything to do with browser size (my
screen resolution is 1600x1200, but my browser maximised only
takes up 1244px due to Trillian and tabs).

I hope some of these ideas help. [snip] The original idea of
        back stage
was to enhance and create an environment for the collection of
        minds in a
        pro-active way.

I thought it was to, according to backstage.bbc.co.uk
    <http://backstage.bbc.co.uk/>, "encourage innovation and support
new talent" in order to "Build what you want using BBC content".

seems to be the current place to make comments and suggestions on
    the new BBC news site.
