Debian or Ubuntu. 

apt-get install backuppc
/etc/init.d/apache2 reload
http://your.host.name/backuppc/

That's really about all that's involved in installing it and making it work
on a Debian box. (At least in my experience). Obviously you have to set up
host configurations after this point, but debian gives you a nice example
file (localhost.pl).
