Hello Hendrik,

on localhost I see in your pdf many transfer errors - it is possible
that you try to backup many directories without access for the backuppc
user? Without real knowledge about it: I can imagine that such access
denied issues are time consuming.

So I have two suggestions for further test:
- Check the access right on localhost
- Switch one of your XP clients to SMB transport

Greetings, Renke

PS Can you please reply this mail to all recipients, it is easier to
follow a list thread if all messages are in the archive.
