Why not just run with $Conf{IncrFill} = 1;

It seems to work here with backup pc 3.1.0. The nice part about filled
backups is that I can keep a copy of selected trees up to date
remotely using rsync by rsyncing the latest backup for the host from
the pc/<hostname> tree (not the pool or cpool tree where rsync has
issues).
