The Baha'i Studies Listserv Conspiracies do exist, and there's a possibility that many conspiracy theories might be true. Take the Jack the Ripper conspiracy theories, for example - one of the alleged suspects might have actually been that particular serial killer for all we know. However, I assumed that this discussion was about NWO conspiracy theories, which generally revolve around some sinister group of powerful individuals (or unverifiable beings, such as aliens) are plotting to take over this planet in order to create a dystopia or annihilate most of humanity.
The CIA, KGB, SAS, etc, have all committed horrendous atrocities, and we need not rely on conspiracy theories to verify that. http://conspiracyscience.com/ On Fri, Oct 15, 2010 at 9:46 AM, Susan Maneck <[email protected]> wrote: > The Baha'i Studies Listserv > Clinton apologized for the Tuskegee experiment and >> Obama apologized to Guatemala for the syphilis study which was done >> there and I would argue that in the strict sense both those studies >> were carried out by conspiracies. > > Those were atrocities, but I don't think they could be considered > conspiracies. > > __________________________________________________ > You are subscribed to Baha'i Studies as: mailto:[email protected] > Unsubscribe: send a blank email to > mailto:leave-533123-2252138.e4e5d946abcacf25aa28f5ab2e5fb...@list.jccc.edu > Subscribe: send subscribe bahai-st in the message body to [email protected] > Or subscribe: > http://list.jccc.edu:8080/read/all_forums/subscribe?name=bahai-st > Baha'i Studies is available through the following: > Mail - mailto:[email protected] > Web - http://list.jccc.edu:8080/read/?forum=bahai-st > News (on-campus only) - news://list.jccc.edu/bahai-st > Old Public - http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] > New Public - http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] > __________________________________________________ You are subscribed to Baha'i Studies as: mailto:[email protected] Unsubscribe: send a blank email to mailto:leave-533134-27401.54f46e81b66496c9909bcdc2f7987...@list.jccc.edu Subscribe: send subscribe bahai-st in the message body to [email protected] Or subscribe: http://list.jccc.edu:8080/read/all_forums/subscribe?name=bahai-st Baha'i Studies is available through the following: Mail - mailto:[email protected] Web - http://list.jccc.edu:8080/read/?forum=bahai-st News (on-campus only) - news://list.jccc.edu/bahai-st Old Public - http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] New Public - http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]
