She was born during the pre-Islamic period ie bethrowed after 10+ and cohabitated after 13/14+. According to a hadith, She was five years younger than Fatima. Fatima was born when the Kabba was rebuilt. That was when Muhummad was 35. He cohabitated with Ayesha at 52. So she was 12 then. It's invalid, because it contradicts the chronolgy. Asma was ten years older than Fatima. She was older than her sister Ayesha by ten years. Asma died at the age of 100 in the year 73/74 AH. Asma was 27-29 when Muhammad and Ayesha cohabitated. Thefore, Ayesha was 17-19 then. Valid via chronology. Only people fifteen years or older participated in battle. Ayesha participated in the battles of Badr and Uhud. She was atleast 15 during those battles. This was before they cohabitated. Thefore, she was atleast 15+. According to a hadith, Ayesha was born on 8 BH. One person in the discussion stated over and over that Muhammad was immoral because he married a girl aged 6, and had intimate relations with her when she was only 9. This particular person in the discussion was interested in nothing except his or her own vitrioloc rants against Muhammad and against Islam. I defended Muhammad according to my limited ability, but I would like advice on how to respond to this accusation of pederasty, because it is likely to come up again, from critics of Islam. Shoghi Effendi told us we should be defenders of Muhammad and of Islam; I need help with this issue. Admittedly you cannot reason with a bigot, but I would like to have an effective answer for this subject.
