Susan, 
aren't Baha'i studies essentially about the dialogue between
contemporary society and the Baha'i teachings?. So any contemporary
issue, and courtship would have to be one of the more important, must
fall into the framework somewhere.

Then perhaps the best approach would be to simply ask if there is
anything in the Writings specifically on the topic of courtship. What I
am trying to avoid is subjective ruminations on these kinds of matters.
