Dear friends, I am saddened to announce the passing of Vinson Jamir who was an active participant on this list a couple of years ago. Please remember him and his family in your prayers.
warmest, Susan NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. -Funeral services for Mr. Vinson Jamir, 52, of Audubon Circle, North Augusta, who died August 23, 2003, will be conducted Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. from the Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home. Interment in Westover Memorial Park. Mr. Jamir was a native of Michigan, having made North Augusta his home for the past 17 years. He was a member of the Bahai Faith, an U.S. Army Veteran and served in the Peace Corp in the Marshall Islands. A graduate of the University of Florida, Mr. Jamir received his Juris Doctorate from the Univeristy of Oklahoma and his L.L.M. from the University of Georgia. He was a Federal employee. Survivors include his wife, Noora Jamir; two daughters, Nasim Joy Jamir, New York City and Nahal Suzanne Jamir, San Marcos, Texas; parents, Michael and Margaret Jamir, North Augusta; two sisters, Karla Jamir-Glist, Alexandra, Va., Sally Jamir-Kolins, Siler City, N.C. Pallbearers will be Jordan Glist, Cameron Mura, Aubin Mura, Paul Glist, Steven Kolins, and Steve Jones. The family will receive friends at the graveside following the services. Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home of North Augusta is in charge of arrangements.
