He explained that what the Prophet or Messenger Reveals of the knowledge of God Himself does not change from Prophet to Prophet in its essentials; because God does not change.  However, he said, as the conditions of men change, so the social laws change.

That was very important for me to know and to tell others; because those who have travelled the long road of prayer and meditation may have been allowed some glimpse of the truth regarding God and reality.  If that is denied; how then does one orient one's self?

O peoples of the world! Whatsoever ye have offered up in the way of the One True God, ye shall indeed find preserved by God, the Preserver, intact at God's Holy Gate.

(The Bab, Selections from the Writings of the Bab, p. 48)

Those truth's learned in prayer and meditation were found intact with the Baha'i Revelation.

Finally, a Persian Baha'i answered my one question "How can one Prophet change the laws laid down by a succeeding Prophet?"  He answered the question.  I was ready to declare on the spot.

Just curious:  What answer did he give?
