Hi I have just been to Manali - Leh - Srinagar and back on my classic Pulsar 150 KS (2003). At some places in the plains (not the hills) I found the bike not delivering the optimum performance in 5th gear even with the accelerator held to the max , i needed to constantly upshift to get the pickup and go ahead. Looked like the bike ran out of air sometimes .. literally. Not sure what could be the problem.
This was observed only 2-3 times when I departed from Leh for Kargil and on the plain stretches of the NH 1 D where the tarmac was bliss. I couldnt speed there.Sometime later the condition returned back to normal. The weight on the bike was me (78kgs) + luggage (max 10kg). Any ideas?
