Hrishikesh The bike wasnt running rich, it was on stock tuning and it didnt lose power climbing the towering passes , it lost power on straight plains just after Leh on the way to Kargil and not always but for sometime - i didnt see the problem after that. So it was temporary.
Maybe a problem of gearbox or air in fuel lines as Vatsal suggested. Will get the bike checked.
