Hey Kedar, 

Agree with you when you say that we need to learn how to avoid 
falling, but you'd agree to the fact that a major portion of this 
knowledge comes from the falls itself that makes us 'experienced 
riders' ;)

As for the latter bit of it, experience tells me that the best way to 
fall is to try control the bike as much as you can, but once you're 
convinced, just hold on till you're on the ground and then completely 
loosen up. Just make sure you dont hit your head even if you've worn 
a helmet. You'd land up rolling that way hence avoiding friction 
which helps save some skin.
