Colonel de Wich,
I have just received the following from your Captain Grosscanard. I must
confess that I have not the slightest clue what he is talking about. Does
the man think that, having a Summer Campaign for the Brigade to plan I have
time for such inconsequentialities? I can only assume that his recent shame
at being convicted of treason and apparent desertion by my sister - not
before time! - have upset the balance of his mind. If a medical officer
gives him a clean bill of mental health, however, then he is obviously
guilty of gross insurbordination. Inform me personally as soon as you have
determined which is which.
On a related matter, the men under you seem to have no concept of the chain
of command. This reflects badly on you, implying as it does that your
command of the regiment is sloppy at best. Please make it clear to them that
if they wish to bring anything to my personal attention they should take it
to you in the first instance so that that you can send only what is
pertinent 'upstairs'.
Brigadier de Mylcandonai
[OOC: I _could_ send the Nicole letters via Greg as anonymous press, but
there seems little point as everyone would realise who they came from anyway
and it would only make more work for our harrassed GM. The player whose PC
is the current beau of Nicole has given permission to write on her behalf,
ERGO the letters are from NICOLE. If GG doesn't want replies, he shouldn't
write to her in the first place ;-) ]
