Brigadier de Mylcandonai

Sir,

I Must confess that I have no idea what he is talking about either, but then I
do not read all his mail. I have however requested the medical officer examine
his mental health and will let you know of the results when I get them.

I also have no idea what you are talking about when you accuse me of running a
sloppy regiment. If your accusation is due to captain Grosscanards comments
then I too am very busy preparing for the Summer campaign and do not have time
to sort out squabbles between a captain in my regiment and yourself. This whole
affair is not a military matter and I would appreciate it if you would sort
out your own personal problems.

If you have any proof of me running a sloppy regiment then I would appreciate
you letting me know and I will answer any accusations as (or IF) I receive
them.

I am not Grosscanards keeper, he performs his duties in the regiment and like
all members of any regiment does have some free time even when at the front. I
cannot watch over every member of the regiment 24 hours a day. Nor can I read
every letter sent from the front.

In military matters my men are well disciplined and are fully aware of the
chain of command. If Capt. Grosscanard or any other member of my regiment has a
military problem then it would obviously come through me. Any breach in
this and or I would deal with this in the strongest possible manner. [Not sure
how though :-)))]

Non military matters however are not my concern unless it effects my regiment.
This is now the case with your personal problem with Grosscanard. I am finding
myself taken away from my summer plans again to answer another 'mummy he's
calling me names' complaint. I will ask captain Grosscanards to stop writing
home and would also ask you to stop moaning to me. When we are back in Paris I
am sure that you can sort this out like two gentlemen, while we are at the
front please let me do my job.

Colonel de Wich,

[OOC. Sending your letter that way was fine but I am not sure if you are
expecting me to do anything in the game. I am not sure what powers I have as a
colonel. I cannot remove a character from the regiment. I cannot send someone
on a more dangerous mission. If you are expecting me do something other than
reply to press and there is something that I can do please let me know]
