Letter to Dragoon Guards Colonel

Dear Sir,

This letter is to inform you of my intention to resign from the Dragoon Guards.
It has been a plesure serving under you and it has also been a great source
of pain lately there has a great deal of strife which has been in part, my 
fault. So I have no wish to be a cause of conflict particualarly when in a
battlefield situation such things could be dangerous. So I therefore resign
my post as captain in the Dragoon Guards and my place as Regimental Adjudtant.
