Mylcandonai
Dear Friend,
It is with deep grief that I have learned that you are leaving the
regiment. But under the conditions I completely understand your
resignation. I myself have had a lot of thinking about my own and the
regiments future. My conclusion is that it will not benefit either the
Dragoon Guards or France if there is a major drop out of captains. I
believe that I do more good to stay and do the best of this situation and
try to increase the spirits among the men then leave my beloved regiment at
this difficult time. I hope that you will understand my choice and that we
can continue our friendship. I wish you good luck with your new career in
the King's Musketeers, and I know that with your knowledge and experience
you will not disappoint them.
Your friend,
Captain Leplee
[OOC: I'm leaving for 2 weeks in Ireland tomorrow and will not have any
access to my email. Already looking forward to read the outcome of this
affair :) ]
