I thank you for accepting my request to act as my second.
It is quite possible that my lack of any government or military
appointment my well have contributed to Lucy's decision to abandon me
for that scoundrel Custaad. I must admit that I have not been terrible
active on the social front of late, and we both know how our good ladies
or wives like to be seen out with there beau's.
Maybe Lucy is only wishing to give me a 'wake up call', so I will be
attempting to win back her favour.
On the matter of employment, as were are only a month away from the
new appointments, can you advise me what may be available?
One final note, please accept my apologies for not attending your and
the princesses wedding. I was called away on urgent family business.
So my I congratulate both HRH Princess Lousia and your good self on your
marriage. Maybe, once the little problem with Custaad is resolved, Lucy
and I could pay you a visit.
