Congratulations on assuming the Colonelcy of our fine
regiment! I'm sure that we'll do well in the upcoming campaign under your
leadership. I also wish to tender my apologies for failing to keep our
appointment this month. My idiotic servant sent me to the wrong address
(ooc: typo in my orders).
Perhaps it would be worthwhile to take the regiment to the front
for this upcoming month to get the kinks out, as it were.
