Gentlemen,
It seems the drudgery of another siege has befallen us; however we must
know that to cut off the enemy's supplies is often as important as cutting
off parts of their anatomy.
The analysis of the first month of campaign has been deemed to be
inconclusive by 2nd Army Command. We can feel proud of the fact that we
have not lost any members of the regiment as well as the mentioned acts of
bravery by such fine officers as Captain d'Passant.
That said, all men should know that we will be expected to bring the siege
to a conclusion this coming month. I feel confident that all of you will
be happy to see an end of it and I expect that every effort shall be made
on your part to make that a reality.
In Loyal Service to His Majesty,
LtC. la Pointe; RM
