I write out of context to make some observations as a nearly 2 year participant in the game now on my second character. It seems there has been a sad decline in interaction of our characters, both through decreased banter and badinage in press and decreased activity at all but the very highest social level. About 3 or 4 months ago there was an announced new command ceremony, interrupted by explosion of a powder magazine. This hinted at activity to follow but none is forthcoming so far. Two months ago saw the KM go to the front with elevation of their commander to BvtBrigadier and a Captain to Baron. Invitations to a welcome home were issued by HdB and subsequently by ZZ to celebrate thesse occurrences but were dropped at the last minute. Starsha Allura no longer sings and that loveable knave, Guillaume Grosscanard, has apparently become a Trappist.     I look for announcements of the number of Armies for the Summer campagin, reports from His Majesties' ministers,and other signs that the Monarchy is humming as a well oiled machine. JM has given up his monthly soirees, one needs distraction from ZZ's ever so sharp rapier. We need foment, debauchery, and othe fine character building activities to put life into the game again.
