Really? Wow. Well, you have to read the history, and I don't mean the short years before the invasion - because things changed a bit then. But under the Taliban things were more stable... but I am exhausted and need to go to bed.. this is a great discussion though so lets continue it! Remember that we backed the Taliban during to Soviet war in Afghanistan... again they were good until the short years leading up to 2001 and it's my opinion that this is when things became somewhat fragmented - and it did no happen in a vacuum.
The media blows things way out of proportion... they fail to report the war crimes of the likes of Karzai etc... yet they have no problem demonizing the Taliban. Anyway more tomorrow, insha'allah.
