Hi I've tested the new version of missing agent part one, and it's much better, congratz : ) I didn't had to look at the source once (except for the last comment - see below). And generally speaking, we're getting closer to something that would actually be playable :D
Comments: - It's very verbose, especially at the start when it explains lots of things at once - While I was looking for the painting name, I entered "van gogh 40 millions museum" and I came accross articles talking about another one of him that was stolen. I thought it was about this one, and it got me excited! I think it showed that it is nice when you get to discover some extra information/story during your research, not only exactly what the guy on the chat asks : ) - Need to improve searching: speed (loading of intermediate pages), history, seeing the results page instead of feeling lucky (=> to speed up search, maybe load the websites in a window instead of in the background? That could also give more the feeling of playing on a Web Desktop/OS) - Maybe add more intermediate steps to make it more interactive: one that looks for the painting/painter name in the URL, then only ask a specific page. With intermediary rewards it would keep me more motivated - Hard to find the page itself. http://hackit.local/gt/u/www.getty.edu/art/gettyguide/artObjectDetails?artobj=145 seemed the right one at first. I also had a lot of trouble trying to find the right wikipedia page (that you were mentioning), etc. We're still missing something here I think. - "Our agent, could he be at the MoMa at that time ? Yes or no ?" => made me look at the page itself - Can you prove it? => I was already on the right page, it should detect that - It's not clear that we reach the end of the mission - I had to check the source. Xavier.
