Hi Michael,

Thx for the mail. However, I feel that you are not really taking into
account the feedback :/ The current approach is to start from the change of
paradigm created by the web, avoid the scifi genre to avoid making the theme
too dry for most people, and at the same time relate to a strong subject
that can polarize (this is what we need in order to 'exist' and create some
buzz at the beginning). You are thinking about the game already, where we
are still thinking about finding this angle of approach, and you come back
to the AI (even in a light way) despite the fact that valid concerns have
been raised about the concept.
The fact that I don't see the will to grasp what is underneath the Gaia
theme and what we're trying to achieve gives the impression that you ignore
a part of the discussions that have taken place until now. I can understand
that you don't like the environmental theme, that's fine! But then what we
would have needed is new concepts and themes, not jumping directly to the
game itself with a some bits of AIs and some bits of environment. This is
even more essential because you're applying for a contractor position, and
these reasons will likely prevent you from getting the contractor job.

However, if what I'm trying to convey makes sense to you, it shouldn't
prevent you from staying around and contributing ideas - getting the
contractor job and being a contributor are two different things - and I'll
be happy to keep discussing these questions with you.

Best

D
