about what package are you talking?
For the Bareos packages we use the spec file in
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bareos/bareos/master/platforms/packaging/bareos.spec
(or the other branches).

The obs extracts the source of a branch from github, creates an tar.gz,
extract the files from platforms/packaging and start the build.

The build process may slightly modify the spec file.
The resulting packages including the source rpm including the spec file
get published.

So everything is already in github.
