Dear All, I began to study Bareos few days ago and I would like to put it into production ASAP.
In order to connect a tape drive to bareos we have two options: either to use an IBM System Storage TS3500 on which I have to spend some money for maintenance, or purchase a new HP StoreEver 1/8 G2 . The cost for purchasing an HP StoreEver 1/8 G2 corresponds to the maintenance of IBM System Storage TS3500. Which option do you recommend ? Does anyone have experience with these devices ? Please take into consideration that we are talking about no more than 10 clients at the beginning , do you reccomend to use the virtual machine based on suse studio or should I use a real hardware ?
