I think you just hit the nail on the head. I have been trying to use the same volumes and pools in both changers and just changing the "Storage" parm in the Job definition.
My goal was to take our one autoloader that was handling daily (incremental), weekly (differential) and monthly (full) pools and move the daily backups to the second autoloader. This would allow me to stuff all of the daily tapes into one autoloader and never touch it again. Please forgive my ignorance. I really am trying to understand how this works.
