I tried searching the archives before I posted, but I wasn't using the right terms. I finally noticed the patches sent by Lee Dixon that directly address my problems. I tried the latest CVS sources, and synchronizing works!
Thank you Lee and Chris! CVS head addresses my problems with contacts, memory usage, and the categories are even carried over correctly. I now know that the reoccurring appointment problem is a known issue. My blackberry is finally usable! However, I noticed that my BB contacts didn't get imported into Kaddressbook. Could it be related to the categories? Any ideas on how I should troubleshoot it?
