That was in the Barry syncing doc webpage. :-) I thought it would help, but obviously that was mistaken. When I'm testing things here, I always have backups and one side is often authoritative, so I can recreate the opensync configuration during development and re-test. I'll update the docs to clarify some of the risks of slow-syncing.
