One of the things that such an integration would do is free up a ton of developer resources that (based on postings to the SV mailing lists) are currently trying to implement the XForms widgets in pure (read: Adobe-specific) SVG. A great example is at http://svgui.sourceforge.net/ , but there are plenty of other examples. To be fair, the SVGUI project is looking to go beyond the basic XForms UI, but the benefits of having SVG + XForms would be enormous.
