BBDB can be a hyperactive pain in the butt in some ways. I have a
problem with that too. These two line may help if you don't already
have someting like it:
(setq bbdb-quiet-about-name-mismatches t)
(setq bbdb-silent-running t)
This still doesn't shut it clear up. I think there should be a switch
that makes bbdb just hold what you give it to hold, record what you
tell it to record and shut clear up about anything else.
Apparently this is not possible ... or difficult.
