First, I'm taking an opportunity for a shameless plug (you mentioned FileMaker in one of your other messages): <shameless plug> If you need to exchange data between FileMaker and MySQL, have a look at fmSQL Synch <http://www.garrison.com.au/products/fmsql_synch.html>. </shameless plug> And to keep this topic related to BBEdit, have you looked at the 'service' for CocoaMySQL "Perform selection as MySQL query"? I use that quite frequently to edit database records in BBEdit and then update the database. (That allows me to edit the database from within BBEdit, sort of). It does require creating SQL update/insert statements, but the search/replace abilities of BBEdit make that quite easy to do.
