the situation has been as it is now for a long time (that an existing window is not affected by changing the prefs). Don't forget that the distinction between 'document' and 'window' only appeared IIRC with tabs and BBEdit 8 - if you can make a full account of why the existing spread of prefences doesn't work, they'll probably consider it. I'm already thinking 'wow I remember the days when you could not search BBEdit prefs! wow, that was the Dark Ages'. and I've only dabbled in code folding but I think it's going to make complex LaTeX much easier to read. nice update guys and gals. thanks again. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------ Have a feature request?
