This is one of the trade-offs for switching to the system's built-in
spell checker, and an unfortunate one.
Actually, we go to some effort to avoid invoking the spelling
checker on things that we know can't possibly be valid (language
keywords, HTML elements, things of that sort).
There are a couple of bugs that should be sorted out soon, but
they don't indicate the presence of any particular tradeoff. :-)
